Recycled Swimwear - Swimsuits & Board Shorts

We all know that fast fashion can be a crazy burden on the environment but let's be honest, I still buy new things every now and again. Instead of simply seeing and buying, I like to look into brands and find an eco friendly alternative when I want to treat myself.

As summer is in full swing and those dreams of holidays are actually now on the horizon I wanted to show you some great swimwear brands that are actually recycling plastic from the ocean to make gorgeous pieces!

BATOKO

I absolutely LOVE Bakoto swimwear! Not only does it look bloody amazing but it's made from 100% recycled from plastic bottles, fishnets and post-consumer waste such as carpets and other textiles!

Rather than adhere to the pressure of a disposable, fast-fashion culture, we are going against the grain; consciously keeping our collections small and introducing new designs at a slower and much more sustainable pace that's kinder to the planet and the people that make them. This also allows us to focus on quality and the individuality of each swimsuit design, enabling us to tweak and improve along the way - ultimately putting the value back into clothing and keeping the Batoko spirit alive for years, not just a season.

They have SO many cute designs to choose from and they fit really well. It super soft, true to size and will look amazing as a swimsuit or with a pair of shorts!

We’re excited to introduce the RE-ROAM boardshorts range. Developed with an airy, weightless, durable fabric that is super quick drying and features 2-way stretch. Best yet, each pair is lovingly made from 13 recycled single-use plastic bottles.
