"Our signature blend, our daily cuppa, our builder's brew, our Rosy Lee - call it whatever you want but our everyday brew is a top quality take on the ultimate British favourite. Three delicious teas: a gutsy Assam, a mellow Ceylon and a powerful Rwandan to give a balanced, malty, zesty alliance."

Did you know a LOT of tea bags contain plastic even if they don't look like it? I know right - this blew my mind too after I had been putting tea bags in my compost bin for at least a year!!

I switched to loose leaf tea as soon as I found out and I love it but I know a lot of people love the convenience of traditional tea bags so now Teapigs make plastic free tea bags and packaging approved with the PLASTIC FREE logo as stamp of approval I am super happy to be adding them to Plastic Freedom!

  • Inner Bag (inside the cardboard carton) - This looks like plastic but is actually made from wood pulp and can be put in your home compost bin or council food waste

  • Cardboard Box - FSC certified with vegetable ink and can be recycled in your general recycling

  • PLASTIC FREE - With the Plastic Free logo of approval certified by A Plastic Planet

  • Dairy free

  • Gluten free

  • Suitable for vegetarians and vegans

Please note that Teapigs are made in a factory that handles nuts.

English Breakfast Loose Leaf Tea 100g - Teapigs

  • Teapigs are an incredible company who really do care about the environment! They are B Corporation certified as a business (this is damn hard to achieve) meaning they have reached the highest standards of social and environmental performance, accountability and transparency!

They are also certified plastic free and were the first tea company that was awarded the Plastic Free logo from A Plastic Planet!

We were the first tea company awarded the Plastic-Free trustmark from A Plastic Planet. This means that none of the tea bags or packaging contains conventional plastic which is derived from fossil fuels!

  • Black tea from Assam, Rwanda and Ceylon.
